Refresh cadence and limits
Control how often a dashboard updates, and understand plan-based limits.
Dashboards refresh on a cadence the owner sets, and can also be refreshed on demand. How often automatic refresh can run depends on your plan.
Setting freshness
- Open the Freshness control
As the owner, open the dashboard's freshness setting.
- Pick a cadence
Choose how often the dashboard refreshes automatically. Faster cadences are available on higher plans.
- Refresh now
Use Refresh now to update immediately. On-demand refresh is rate-limited to protect your sources.
Plan-based refresh
As a guide, automatic refresh can run roughly daily on the entry plan and gets faster on higher plans, down to near-live on the top plan. The exact cadence options shown depend on your current plan; see Plan comparison.
Refresh updates the dashboard's results. Your data is read at refresh time, so a faster cadence means more frequent queries against your sources.
