Disconnecting a source

Remove a source you no longer need, and what happens to its data.

Updated May 27, 2026

When you no longer need a source, disconnect it. Queringo stops reading from it and removes its stored credentials. Disconnecting is reversible for a short window before the source's data is purged.

Steps

  1. Open the source menu

On the Data sources page, open the menu on the source and choose Disconnect.

  2. Confirm

Review the confirmation and confirm. Queringo disconnects the source immediately.

What happens to the data

  • The source is disconnected immediately and stops being queried.
  • Its discovered schema and stored credentials are scheduled for deletion and purged after 7 days.
  • Dashboards, alerts, and saved questions that relied only on that source will no longer return data.

Disconnecting affects anything built on the source. If you only need to update a secret, rotate credentials instead.
