Disconnecting a source
Remove a source you no longer need, and what happens to its data.
Updated May 27, 2026
When you no longer need a source, disconnect it. Queringo stops reading from it and removes its stored credentials. Disconnecting is reversible for a short window before the source's data is purged.

Steps
- Open the source menu
On the Data sources page, open the menu on the source and choose Disconnect.
- Confirm
Review the confirmation and confirm. Queringo disconnects the source immediately.
What happens to the data
- The source is disconnected immediately and stops being queried.
- Its discovered schema and stored credentials are scheduled for deletion and purged after 7 days.
- Dashboards, alerts, and saved questions that relied only on that source will no longer return data.
Disconnecting affects anything built on the source. If you only need to update a secret, rotate credentials instead.
