Your 7-day free trial

How the Queringo free trial works, what's unlocked, when reminders go out, what happens when it ends, and what changes when you upgrade.

Updated May 31, 2026

Every new Queringo account starts on a 7-day free trial. The trial unlocks every connector type so you can wire up your real stack and see the product end to end. Other limits are at the Starter level, so it's an unrestricted preview of what you can connect, not a free Growth tier.

When the trial starts

The trial clock starts the moment your account is created. A banner at the top of every page shows the days remaining and the percent of trial credits used. No credit card is required.

The trial runs whether or not you log in. If you sign up Friday and come back Monday, three of your seven days have already passed. We send reminder emails so the clock is never a surprise.

What's included

  1. Workspaces and seats

1 workspace and 2 seats. Invite your teammates straight from the onboarding page.

  2. All connector types

Every connector is unlocked during trial, with no per-category cap: databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB), warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, ClickHouse, Databricks, DuckDB), data lakes (S3 with Athena, Azure Data Lake, Unity Catalog, Iceberg / Delta), managed connectors (Stripe, HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4, Shopify, QuickBooks, Zendesk, NetSuite, Google Sheets, and more), plus CSV / Excel uploads. Sources you connect during trial keep working after the trial ends.

  3. AI credits

Up to 500,000 weighted tokens. This is enough to ask a few hundred questions, build a couple of dashboards, and set up alerts.

  4. Dashboards, alerts, and insights

Up to 3 dashboards and 5 daily alerts, the same as Starter. AI Insights surfaces trends and anomalies during the trial.

Reminder schedule

We email the address on file at four points during the trial, so you never miss the end of the window:

WhenWhat you'll see
Day 3A friendly check-in with onboarding tips and a soft prompt to pick a plan when you're ready.
3 days before expiryHeads-up that the trial is winding down, with the upgrade link.
1 day before expiryFinal reminder. The banner in the app turns rose-coloured to match.
6 hours before expiryLast call, with the exact end time in UTC.

All reminders link to Settings → Billing, where you can pick a plan in a couple of clicks.

When the trial ends

If you haven't picked a plan by the time the trial ends, the workspace moves to a paywalled state:

  • Every gated page (asking, dashboards, alerts, sources) routes to the Trial ended screen with a single Continue to choose a plan button.
  • The billing settings page stays open so you can pick a plan without signing back in.
  • Your data, dashboards, and alerts are kept intact for 30 days. Pick a plan within that window and everything is exactly where you left it.
  • Alerts and scheduled refreshes pause automatically. They restart the moment your plan activates.

What happens to the connectors you added

Sources you connected during trial keep working. The plan check only runs when you add a new source.

If you stay on the free Starter tier (or no plan) after the trial, you won't be able to add a new connector in the same tier as your trial-tier sources. For example:

You connected during trialPost-trial Starter behaviour
Postgres + StripeStripe keeps querying. You can't add a second managed connector without upgrading to at least Growth.
Snowflake + S3 lakeBoth keep querying. You can't add a second lake without upgrading to at least Scale.
Postgres onlyNo upgrade needed; you can add up to 3 database connectors on Starter.

The trial banner shows the minimum plan that lets you keep adding sources of the tiers you already use, so you don't have to map this out yourself.

Upgrading mid-trial

You can pick a plan at any time. Any plan (Starter, Growth, Scale, or Enterprise) converts the trial to a paid plan immediately: your monthly allowance and feature unlocks kick in right away, and any trial-tier sources, dashboards, and alerts stay exactly where they are.

The Settings page pre-selects the plan that matches your current connector stack, but you can always choose a different tier.

FAQ

  1. Can the trial be extended?

Yes. If you're working through a proof of concept, ping the team and we can extend the trial. Extensions reset the reminder cadence so you'll see fresh emails as the new end date approaches.

  2. What if I run out of trial credits?

You keep browsing the product. Existing dashboards, conversations, alerts, and settings all stay open. New AI requests are paused with an inline "Out of trial credits" nudge until you pick a plan. See Out of trial credits for the full breakdown.

  3. Can I start a second trial?

Each email address gets one trial. Signing up again with the same email (with or without a +tag) lands you back on the existing account.

  4. Does an Enterprise pilot work the same way?

Enterprise pilots are set up by our team and can run longer than 7 days with a custom credit cap and feature unlocks. The banner in the app will tell you which features are unlocked for the pilot.
